Traveling This Holy Week

Any hours now, people will be flocking the bus station, waiting for a ride to their destination this Holy Week. The season of Lent marks the beginning of a long vacation. And it is Summer! Some will go to the beach traveling by sea or air and some can go to the nearest beach like in Batangas or Subic or in Ilocos.

It is a big problem though if ever you will have a long trip and suddenly you need some New Auto Parts. It such a hassle if your car breaks down and you have no spare parts to repair your vehicle. The best thing to do is to check your vehicle days before your long ride or test it a day before the travel. You do not want to spoil your vacation just because of a malfunctioning car.

If only there are door to door delivery of spare parts who can assists you anywhere. One call and they are there.
But during this time I think there are road assistance for this kind of problem.

The best thing to do, bring a cap for the hot weather, check your cars, and bring lots of water.
Enjoy the vacation everyone and spend some time in meditation...

Travel with Ease and Style

We like to travel, since we've been together, Irwin and I made it a point to travel every year, last year we've been to Palawan with my whole family. The year before that we've been to Baguio for our CAS Team Building. We've been to Coron, Palawan for our honeymoon, been to Boracay three times already since it is our favorite destination. Next we plan to visit Bohol, Davao, Iloilo, Cebu and Ilocos.

Now that Kiara is an addition to our family, we've been thinking of travelling outside the country. Next year, his cousin from the USA will be having her 18th birthday on February. He will be a member of the 'Cotillion'. I hope we can all attend the party. What a very far party!

Hmm. That would be wishful thinking.

Okey, to make our plan very reasonable and attainable maybe we should just visit our friends in Singapore or make and Asian tour, maybe Hong Kong and visit Disneyland? Sayang, now that the dollar rate is up we should have tried to have a tour before.

We have another option, yearly the graduate school would visit partner universities in Asia. Two years ago, (sayang ulet) they've been to 5 countries in two weeks, kaya lang di kaya nakakapagod ang ginawa nila? They went to Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangkok and Malaysia and it only cost them around 15 thousand each. This is a group package kasi, some accommodations were sponsored by the partner university. In some city they stayed in a hotel. Our College dean told me to try and search for some group packages available in the net. Ok, sige gagawin ko.

So I guess I have to plan the travel na lang. We are not adventurers translated as pag nagpupunta kami sa isang lugar gusto namin ayos na ang lahat. We are not the type who goes to a place and dun pa lang hahanap ng accommodation or makikipagsapalaran. Preferably sana may hotel na, naka book na ang flight at ready to go na.

My friend who recently went to Vietnam recommended this site www.hotelscombined.com. I checked it out. I was surprised kasi ang galing, it is my first time to see a site ha hindi ka na mag-convert from dollar to peso. gulat nga ako eh. So eto mega hanap ako ng places to visit. My sister-in-law works here. This is a good site kasi they list all the hotels and their prices in your own currency.

I'll look for a good flight site na lang. Any recommendations?

Shopping Day Today

Ang haba ng bakasyon, sana pala I went to Pangasinan to visit my dead relatives, kaya lang diba it was so hot last Nov 1, ang init sobra.

So ngayon, after staying in the house for so many days, nag shopping na lang kami ni Irwin. I bought, a blouse, an anion pantiliners and a shades from Bayo. Cute nga ng shades ah. May nabili pala akong pouch bag din from Egg.
Etong Anion na pantiliners, sinadya pa namin sa Starmall because direct selling ito, hindi nabibili sa supermarket or department store. Popularly known as Love Moon, eto yung napkin na pwede mong gamitin ng isang buong araw. Meron siyang negative ion that would absord all the positive ions, positive ions parang mga free radicals in your body. Nakaka-alis ng dysmenorrhea, at pms if you have your period. I bought the pantiliners, 30 pieces costs 190.00 pesos.

This is the shades I bought naman from Bayo. Naku, I tried to wear a similar shades na pinahiram ng sis ko sa Tagaytay, when I smile umaangat, eto rin umaangat, pero I tried to practice smiling na hindi sya aangat. hehehe. It comes with a very durable and sleeky case.

This is what I bought from Egg, sale ito, dating 245.00 naging 100.00 na lang. So why not buy, cute lang, mura lang.

So before we tried to shop, kumain muna kami.

Tipid kami kasi we will have to pay for the stud service ni Cassie bukas, 2500 rin yun.
Ganun pala, fertile sila looking for a mate,
para ring tao.

Taal Lake Weekend Special

Last Monday, we went to Tagaytay because our Aunt Carmen and Uncle Mario arrived from Canada so we have to tour them here in our country. We always like to go to Tagaytay but we never visited the Taal Lake or the Taal Volcano. Akala ko yung magandang almost cone shaped na mountain eh yun ang Taal Volcano, I was wrong. It was the other mountain. So if you plan to go to Taal Lake and see the Taal Volcano, prepare for a grueling sun, boat ride and horse ride but after all this hardship, wow, the view is extremely rewarding. Bale wala ang mga pagod at hirap ng pag-akyat, long story, we walked up the mountain, we never ride a horse going up and down, bagong raspa raw ako, bawal baka hindi na ako magka-anak. Hehehe.

How much money should you bring in case you want to visit the place?
*1,000 to 1,800 for the boat ride, be sure to haggle, tawad ng tawad, mas tataasan ang rate kung may kasamang foreigner.
*450-500 for the horse ride, 750 for the foreigner, double standard noh, mas mahal sa foreigner.
* 30 for the 250 ml na mineral water when you get to the top
* 20 pesos for the use of comfort room, mabigat dalhin sa itaas ang mga hollow blocks to build the wash room
*50 pesos if you feel like drinking fresh buko
Maybe you can bring your own food para mas enjoy, do not go there around noon, ang init, preferably in the afternoon para tolerable and araw
Naglakad kami ni Ate, sobra, nalakad namin paakyat ng bundok, it took us 45 minutes to go up, by horse nasa 30 minutes, konti lang ang diprensya, masaya ring maglakad, nakakapadog, rest in between your walk, you can get to the top.

Inside the museum, showing molders of chocolate

Ang laking Chocolate Fountain!

Free Taste, sarap siguro...yummy!

I am busy today because I returned back to work after recuperating for two months for my maternity leave. So I need to finish a lot of things for my masteral requirements and the clinical OJT of my students.

Because I cannot discuss anything, I thought of just sharing the pictures of Dusseldorf, Germany when Irwin was assigned there last year.

Hmm, I just wished I was with him when he went there, so eto ako, puro tingin na lang sa mga pictures.
